Great product and super fast delivery

A couple of months back, we swapped out our ceiling fans for the Soran 52 inch Wifi Ceiling Fan with hugger-mount installation from smafan.com. The price, quality, and design of these fans are quite impressive. We ran into a problem with one of the four fans we bought, but the customer service was outstanding and quick to respond. If we ever need more ceiling fans, we’ll definitely shop at smafan.com again.

First off, I gotta say this is the sixth fan I’ve bought in just half a year since moving into my new place. So far, I’ve been really happy with all the fans I’ve gotten. However, after shelling out for the installation of this last one (the Silas), we’ve noticed a screeching sound when it’s on a specific setting. It’s a bummer because I really don’t want to send it back and fork out another installation fee. We’ll just stick to using the other settings. It’s a shame that the one we can’t use is the one I’d probably use the most!

To be real, the site experience was fantastic. I was kinda unsure at first since I hadn’t heard of the company before and was planning to buy the fan from another place. But not only was the fan more affordable, it also arrived way faster than I thought it would.

Awesome items and prices. Solid communication and quick replies to inquiries. Good follow-up after the sale to ensure everything was up to par. Smafan is definitely my top choice for buying stuff.

By the way, I was on the hunt for a fan that had great lighting. They got it covered. Brightens up the whole room.

I’m really into this fan. Super simple to set up, it’s REALLY QUIET, and has a sleek modern design that definitely stands out thanks to the size and shape of the blades. It looks awesome and really moves the air down, cooling the room wonderfully—I'm all about it!!
The only thing I noticed is that the edges of the blades, where the wood is a bit more porous, seem to have absorbed the paint a little too much, making them not quite as smooth as the top and bottom. But honestly, it’s a small detail and you can’t really notice it from the floor.
I just installed the fan three days ago, and so far it’s super quiet and looks amazing. I’m totally in love with it.

This fan is performing excellently! The dimensions fit just right in our lanai. I really appreciate the feature that lets you adjust the light's color and brightness. Plus, controlling the fan via remote, wifi, or even through Alexa is just fantastic. I'm actually hoping to need another fan soon so I can grab one from smafan! I've truly become a 'fan' of smafan because of their variety and, more crucially, their top-notch customer service. Yep, that pun was on purpose!

I had to return my first fan because the light was tilted and rubbing against the blades. They sent me a totally different light, but that one didn’t work either. So, I sent the entire fan back for a refund and decided to buy another one. When I put this new fan up, the light was crooked again, but at least it’s not touching the blades this time. There’s only one way to put the light in, so it can’t be installed wrong. It fits in place with a screw. The fan looks great, but they really ought to take a look at the light alignment issue.

We got ourselves a smafan from a big box store nearby. Had to grab a downrod, which we ordered straight from the smafan site. It showed up fast and was packed nicely. It fit the fan just right, and we managed to get it installed. But, after running like a champ for a couple of days, it just stopped working. We figured the remote batteries might be the issue, but swapping them out didn’t help. The fan won’t power up, and neither will the light. The fuse seems fine. We’re kinda stumped here, and taking it down to send it back is such a hassle. Honestly, I’m not sure I can rate this experience higher than 3 stars.

I'm satisfied with the item, but a couple of the packages seemed to be opened already. It appears they might have been returned earlier. The upper part of the longer downrod showed some signs of wear, so fingers crossed I won’t run into problems with it. I’m thinking I probably won’t shop here again.

This fan's quality is really impressive, no doubt about it. Installing it was a bit of a hassle, believe it or not, due to the electrical shroud that connects to the ceiling plate; it just doesn’t have enough depth. The round donut and square transformer needed to be positioned just right, and even then, it was a snug fit. I’m having some issues with the remote; I have to keep it about a foot away for it to function. But I absolutely love the fan—it's well made and super quiet.
